Once, my toes quivered me a quilt, but then I donated it to Denis QuAIDS. Twice, my toes linted my a dollar, but me spaint it on me Maman.

"Adoring them" somehow didn't end it for me on the right foot. It's close, but not as close as I know you can get.

That's about as punk rock as a warm lemonade slurpee.

I think you should slice open your chest and definitely let all of that guilt out. I mean if you keep it inside any longer it might kill you?

Re: Dolphins Of Dorset by Caducus richa 81.178.243.83 11-Dec-03/3:04 PM
like the idea dolphins of dorset (there are no dolphins in dorset) it sounds kind of folklore, gives a nice gentle feel. Like the snappy wisdom (almost beatish) of searching for god, and memory is a friend. One quibble, the final verse 'my thorns'. Seems detached from the earlier metaphor. Needs to follow through the image of cutting yourself on the thorns.

Good this, again though the last line should be your power punch and 'adoring them' isn't there. The poem certainly strikes a chord.

Do you think the united nations is concerned as much about electrons as you are?

0_o I'm lost. Ok, so you hurt someone and you feel guilty about it. BUT, the sight of them being happy makes you want to die?
Re: Let Go by PunkyPanda dragonfly 67.192.110.189 11-Dec-03/3:54 PM
Well this is definitely better than your last piece. I totally know how it feels to want someone so bad even though you are fully aware they could care less. Still, it seems like a rant. Your ellipses is missing a third dot...

The crossroads are the wrong place to find jesus I'm afraid. But the right place to itch an old scratch.
