A bit confused whether this is about shearing and neutering, or just killing the cow and selling it on. Anyway I think I get the point. Comparing it to graduation(human) is quite cute and thought provoking. Perhaps the end is a bit drawn out though. Once you work out it is about cattle - that should be the end.

this is too generic, perhaps if you wrote something more creative a title would jump out at you (and the reader). The style is pretty good/ readable in both your poems I think.

Good, like the flow of the haikus. They are haiku in spirit as well as syllable. The argument in the last three verses loses discipline though. None of those would stand up as a single haiku.

penumbrally? I am in favour of rhyming unusual words but this is ridiculous. like the idea of her look burning away the shadow

my thanks to each of you. I did run the caps at each line (don't usually - now I know why...) Y2KSlamPoet - my apologies for stiring that memory - and condolences. I thank you for the vote none the less... Best.

i enjoyed this more than anything i have read here in months. thank you. only one line interfered with my pleasure: "That it's them sing (not me)," i thing should be reanimated to: It's them that sing, (not me),

Okay - this is close to something very good, but the articles, conjunctions and prepositions nearly outnumber everything else. Really interrupts the flow of lovely imagery and a deeper concept, IMHO.
