A good effort! Though the idea that anything of asian origin could bring with it a "welcome breeze of sweet escape" is both arrogant and racist. I shan't be recommending this piece to my many asian colleagues.

High school was tough for me, too. I really liked your poeme a lot, and found it very moving. Don't listen to immature loin bags like horus8 - just keep writing what you feel inside and tell others to shit off. Just be true to yourself. I have contemplated sewercide myself, usually when I'm feeling a bit depressed. I'd love to hear your comments on my poeme: http://www.poemranker.com/poem-details.jsp?id=42580 Thanks for keeping it real. 10.

bravo, bravo. you should be proud of this. Can I use this in one of my classes? (I am a teacher)
I feel you have rightfully mastered this genre of writing. You have a gift for detailing moments and presenting them with aplomb. I jolly well wish you the best and this you have ordained this quite masterfully. I bequeath thee a 9. Bravo !

I say this is rather splendid but its a complete deviation from your other works, one feels however this more playful than a poem aimed to satiate. Indulge yourself on a 7, Jolly well done !

Grimey, like a shuffle in the downtown sludge, open bardoors breathing the stink of liquor and piss and old men, their pockmarcked skin flaking hopeless desire. "Dead is the drunkest that you can get, but I haven't been that drunk yet." -Martin Tielli
