I love the title, but the poem didn't quite fit with it.

Yes I have. A Summer living pretty much alone on a college campus will do that to you. On the other hand when everyone comes back in the Fall you appreciate the company that much more.
Dee-lightful anal poem. Read my 'perversions' limericks. this has a few problems in the scanning, but fun nonetheless.

Eh, so so. Guess I just couldn't relate to it all that well and didn't really see the vision you were going for.
Ummm....I really had no idea where this was going. The pacing and feel of the poem seem ok, but what was the narrative of the poem trying to accomplish. I just don't see it.

when I was in tenth grade, one of my best friends was attacked on a fairly regular basis for being gay. Bad poem, but I get your feeling.

Christof on Charles and Eddie by Nicholas Jones 21 Feb 2003, 5:16 AM
So this isn't a biogrpahy of the famous one-hit-wonder singing duo (as you omit the sad demise of c or E - can't remember which, I reckon it isn't). I like the different voices of the two the same situations seen from different points of view.
I like the gentle humour of this, the contrast of poet and girls, the reforming drinker and the innocent daughters of the church. This one's rhythms sneak into you subtly without even trying. Top stuff.

This is much better than the other two. The bread and wine must only mix inside the body; internalisation of himself. Now, are these sincere Christian poems (i.e. are you writing from a position of faith) are are you simply using the imagery? In a sense what the poet actually believes shouldn't matter, but I'm curious.
