That's got to hurt
Good stuff!
Outstanding! I still don't get whether it's about any specific person, or everybody in this world. I'm probably being really stupid in asking this, cause you probably answered it, but hey-I've never claimed to be clever!
you're all foolish. I'm entertained by the poem, though.
howzabout switching it to read thusly:
spun wholecloth from ethers, the ethereal nothing
don't mind p&k. he gets cranky. i get bitchy. horus babbles. etc. keep posting.
i don't know what popaul is. wanna tell me?
I liked it up until "there was a summer I learned to like beer" -- that threw me off of the rhythm I'd build up, and... dunno, randomized everything else to dust.
anything with nascent and butterflies gets kudos from me. (well, no, not anything, but I like it) -- the subject I think is a bit tired, and could possibly benefit from more of the playful treatment you start the piece out with.
Whoa...could you explain who, why and when?
zzinnia66, do you really read every poem on this site? Wow, that's dedication. I think I'll give this poem a 10, not only because it's good, but because I know what it's like to have twats vote low on my poems even though they deserve more. I know someone who anonymously voted 0 on this to get Dark Angel to the top. Should I hit him? (This person I know, not Dark Angel!!!)
Time for that age-old game, Count The Innuendoes!
"Audrey Hepburn with a Viking gene"--hee! Great fun and a technically (and otherwise) well-executed sonnet!
If I cant write a better poem than this, I will be surprised. Im glad I saw this poem cause it will give me confidence to write poems here.
No problemo, amigo
(nodding sagely) Ah
No problem
Now was I being sarcastic?
damn. damn, damn damn. have a 10, for being so damn zen.
Raaaancid
yeee-haw!
