I don't know what to say about this one except wow... great read! :o)
Deep. I can't say I understand this poem fully, but I do like it very much so! =)
Perhaps it's about Tim Henman

what happened to old Gay Angel, anyhow? he hasn't been around. and i thought he said one time that he lived in Indiana.
I do like this, but I'm not quite sure you achieve the lyricism you're striving for. And the last line is a definite disappointment.
katie's back! there is some nice stuff in here. in the two "You thought you..." lines, you'll want to change the "where"s to "were"s. i like those lines, though. the poem veers from subtle to not so subtle, but it's one of your more solid poems (although what do i know).
if you've never seen the film "The Gunfighter," you should, then revisit this poem. nothing wrong with the poem, but it could be a little tighter.
ice baby ice!
I wish I could say what I felt when I read this poem... damn cold... but I loved it... great poem :O)
beautiful, in an archaic way.
i want more from this. are you saying you want to die, in asking the conqueror to pass by? or are you saying that you don't, and that's why you won't go in? are you insisting on creating your own purgatory?
pretty and innocent and free. full of potential, like that blue hour where a closing and an opening coincide. nice job.
this one made me chuckle. i'll have to get out my cat o'9 tails for that. curse you.
interesting... yes, interesting...
Our Future?
could you put some line breaks in this, pretty please?
Nice, First comes sometimers, then mosttimers, then alzheimers.
