i suppose we all need some sadness to be happy. after all how will we know we are happy if we are never sad. All bad times eventually pass away leaving us wiser than before.

Vivid, vivid stuff! I feel like I'm there.
Have you been reading T.S. Eliot?

...Nope, I've scrutinised every word and I can't find any trace of a point whatsoever.

Is it more cowardly to fly a plane into a building and die, or to drop bombs on an Afghan wedding from an enormous height where you are safe? And people said my poem 'Recent History' was naive!

As Alanis Morrissette would say, isn't it ironic? Who is L. Ron Hubbard? I think I recognise the name, but I'm not sure.

Lacking in power. It makes a damn good point, but any passing homophobes'll just read it, shrug their shoulders and go on much the same as before. Good effort though.

This may be a ridiculously stupid comment, but did you write this with magnetic poetry? Worshipping the Apparatus sounds like such a magnetic poetry line. I like the line, "Your smooth diamond head is an easy-girl's vision" because it works so well. The break between "I am drunk // On sweet, mad love." is effective.

When two people are in a room together And one of them breaks wind, Something happens. Something happens to the air; It seems to get warmer, Heavier, Loaded with filth and unspeakable horror. Every gesture, bowel movement, feels twice as expressive, Conveying soiled air in one last, desperate bid for immortality.

Maybe they stare because they read the Bible, too? "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Lev 20:13 Actually, they stare at you because you're gay.

It's nice to admit you don't have a clue. If only all your countrymen were as modest and willing to accept their failings the world would be safer.

I don't fit in either. Anywhere. You need to find your own little niche. Or you'll end up like George III, the mollusc king who never found his rock. We're all molluscs, and we all need our rocks, but some of us find it harder than others. Or something.
