Amelia on spirit of a grama by livingcanvas 18 Sep 2002, 12:45 PM
One problem though, isn't it supposed to be "Grandma" in the title?

Marvelous. Jeez I need to improve.

Dear poetandknowit: Absolutely wonderful! I gave it a nine. It flows like an existential river moving into the bowels of our being. Doug

Ther's a lot of truth to this, and to your Infection poem as well - you handle metaphor very well.

I don't get it. I think you are describing an un-wanted pregnancy. I guess you blame the man and hate the child<--- this of course was my overall impression.

Hi Word. I think he/she is trying to create an image of eyes receiving and comprehending(grasping) the image of the courts. It's kinda like my use of the words abhor and accrue in my now deleted "Wandering thoughts".

Dangit, now I've given Darko a 7, my highest vote for him, yet, but only because of the mirth inducing relevance of this poeme to H8's absurd alter ego bio. This is what I LOVE on p'ranker; one site roach negativist flailing at another. Perhaps we can get PAKI and Dylm involved and the whole tangling ball of puss that these cranky, whining fucks are will go rolling off the edge of the virtual landscape forever.

Very nice!

This is fairly dandy. However, someone I know (not waltfreakinwhitman) abuses the word "tug" so much that I couldn't read it without trying to find some sort of masturbatory reference in every line. (It worked in most of them.)

Wow! your work is good. Please read my Hope poem and leave a comment. I liked this a lot. I never seem to find your name when I check the random poems though, then again I never see mine even when I'm not logged in yet.

It's nice, but for some reason I like the title so much that the poem comes as a bit of a let-down. Which is a pity.

I guess everyone would have been less irritated if you didn't use the 'n' word, and maybe your so-called message would have been received.
It is a great suggestive title and maybe it would be nice to see it taken up in the poem itself, but I still like the scene that's presented here.
It is the same for us all. By the way, if you are an abecedarian don't you believe that it's wrong to learn to read? What are you doing on a poetry site?
Christof on dps 2 - new ver. by decadentlaurel 18 Sep 2002, 8:05 AM
Version 1 is much better than this - simpler, more honest, less 'poetic'.

MY OH MY WHAT AN INSIGHTFUL POEME!!!!!!!! Your life is an inspiration to me. No, really. Check out the first poeme in my 'AIDS Bonanza!' for instance.
Alright, dammit, I'm starting to like your shite. Mute nostril agony.
