Ending is weak. Opening sets the example.

As Samantha, I ignore them. As Steven, I'd have to act macho with a joke.

A really good thought you have here. It could be said stronger with fewer words though.

Welcome to the world. I can't believe you'd do anything worth getting yelled at tho'. Good expression/vent.

Re: Clerihews (here you go, Nicholas Jones!) by Yardbird lukehanney 144.173.6.76 9-Oct-04/3:43 PM
A very poor, and needlessly rude example of poetry. I will admit that clerihews are not known for quality, but for wit. However, this is just rude. By the way Nicholas Jones = Legend.

Nicholas Jones = Legend Subject to the but of my poetry and took it all very well... if you don't mind Nicholas I'm working on Ode No. 4 http://www.poemranker.com/poem-details.jsp?id=19492

I really liked it. Good job. The last line of the chorus didn't flow right for me though, but that's just my opinion.

3rd line needs an "r" on "you"

Excellent, there can be no more fitting tribute to the poet or indeed welshness than rhyming Jones with trombone.

:( Overall, a really good poem. I especially liked the lines, "A memory was carved from oaks, where spiders weaved silk lairs" The last stanza was good too.
