"Hang in" Now, that is sound advice.

ugh. What could this comment say about your "growth stage"? True strength is found in weakness? I suppose true growth is then found in non-growth? Where did you come up with your 90% figure? I suppose you fancy yourself one of the 10%. We, as sentient, adult beings, think in words. You think poorly. "90% just try to walk around pretending they are "strong" or never feel alone or unsure of themselves...or perhaps they are just compleatly out of touch with who they really are" You could not be more wrong about this.

That it is a fantastic anthem for all the confused members of the human race. Your various points seem to be: 1) America spends more on space travel than finding a cure for disease. I believe US companies would love to find a cure for AIDS and cancer as it would make them more money - I don't believe there is a direct correlation between the budgets of NASA and Pfizer. 2) Because America is wealthy it should not have homeless people. Bow'ls. 3) The law backs the wealthy against the "people". Bernie Ebbers would probably back you right to the point where he goes down for 80 years. 4) By invading a despotic state whose main aim was to cause as much turbulence in the Middle East as possible the safety and security of the United states has been in some way compromised. How many terrorist bombings have there been in the USA since the overthrow of the regimes in Iraq and Afghanistan? 5) Never has the USA been more united never has a president received such an enhanced majority in favour of his previous term in office, never have so few disgruntled lefties whinged quite so loudly. -10-

Does the waking up not deserve a big break? I see what you mean, sadly.

Oh. I guess that explains how, although you've never admitted weakness (or even the slightest ignorance on any topic), you're the most consistently and soundly mocked user on poemranker.

Could you honestly not tell the difference between it and the two-dollar wine? Call me clothesminded, but it strikes me that for a metaphor to work, the real-world thing it's referencing (in this case, the actual wine,) has to work. I'd be hard-pressed to name someone (even among the Islams here) who couldn't tell the difference between $2 and $10 bottles of wine.

Oh, come on! And speaking of grammatical accuracy, grammatical is spelled with two m's.

I don't sense much feeling in the poem, but I bet you have a lot more you could put into it?
