I didn't say you called yourself a master of parodies. What I was trying to communicate to your face is that from your frequent posts about parodies, and your incessant gushing about the parodies you have written, it seems as if you THINK you're some sort of parody master. Whether you say it or not, that's what's going on in your miniscule brain. Oh and don't bother trying to bring up that crap about having a higher IQ than me. The difference between you and me is that you lied about your IQ, whereas I have an actual certificate proving that my effective IQ is 106.
Offended my pride? The only thing you have offended is my sense of taste - something you repeatedly abuse whenever you felch yourself into the public domain. I brought up the question of the true origins of the poemeranker parody because I know you have frequently worshipped horus8, and since he seems to have taught you all you know about parodies, I thought that perhaps one of the main reasons for your obsession with them is that they came from his creative genius. If you discovered that they were actually exuded by your nemesis -=Dark_Angel=-, you might think differently. Actually I didn't really think you'd think differently. I thought you'd probably do something like what you're doing now; namely blunder around for a while completely misunderstanding everything and acting like a prime bollock.
Sooner or later you're going to have to face the fact that I have been playing you since day one... "your my guitar.. i pluck some strings, you make some noise.."
I liked it. It reflected that side of us that we hide from others, and it did it well.
Cursing someone to ooze. That's a new one.
Update: Again darkie, I have given substance to your spouts, anyway its great that we are back at it again! I can always count on you homie!

Darkie, you like to put words in my mouth, don't you? where did i ever call myself a master of parodies? no where.
I never said horus was the first person ever to write a parody on poemranker.
So, exactly what is the point of babbling about things i never said or implied? nothing, but it looks like your pride is offended, which to me its pathetic.. why the fuck would you care even if i DID say im the master of parodies and that horus was the first poet here on the ranker to write one?
I think you need to get out, have your nurse roll you out into the front yard and have some sun.
Nice ending, i'd work on the rest however.
this struck a chord with me...a good one.

I was too. I pout now.
well said (both your comment-ary and commentary)
I have DSL, but my provider really sucks, i get booted way too often.
i enjoyed this more than anything i have read here in months. thank you.
only one line interfered with my pleasure:
"That it's them sing (not me),"
i thing should be reanimated to:
It's them that sing, (not me),

I am the finest wit in all of Gloucestershire!
No, seriously, I think it adds to the swarthy nature of the tale.
Thanks for the comments!

Hmm, I can't really see the problem. I might leave that line as it is. What about "drowned in the sanguine depths"?
Do you think I should make it a sonnet?
Not quite, but you may have a poem of your own there.
Anyway...
thank you very much. :)
could be. but one never knows. I'd like to think the poem is more general than that, but certainly encapsulates the ranker. a human tendency, more.
