Something fierce. And the single rhyme in this - fate/wait - well played, that bit. (I must confess to be ignorant of the background - saudi arabia? egypt?)

Hopefully your dad will correct your spelling. In your dreams that is. ;) - it's "c'est la vie" (to be pedagogical)

in the last stanza change 'saw' to 'felt'. Also snowballs can only be made my people, not trees. Find some other way to say it.

I especially like the 3rd + 4th Stanzas. Well done.
I also am an ignorant, blacklisted Terrorist-American (Green Party affiliation) - similarly unskilled yet interested in language. Certainly I will post my (meager) translation. Give me until tomorrow to rebuild/polish it. Or maybe I'll show you mine if you show me yours.

The ending is fairly awesome. I don't like that [the droplets] soaked into the floor; either I think of a cement floor in a factory, or via the title, a glass floor.
any chaance, oh ambiguously gendered traveller, of posting what you've come up with, for those of us who've been blacklisted by gwb by registering at ajeeb, only to find out that we need $30 to get the answer? i am an ignorant american, and my language skills are poor.
