Ah, italy-angel, glad you enjoyed it, ill probly be posting it soon on entrances and exits for them folks to nitpick at will.
happy you liked it joe, i had this one stashed in my workshop for awhile and added the final touches yesterday.
I think this is the best poem I've read on this yet to date. Honestly.
I flows smoothly, but there are a couple parts that I feel were...well that they were for lack of better words, basically. Like, "a God of thunder," I dunno...seemed like something you would write when you'er young.
I like most of it, but there are a couple parts that I didn't feel completely struck by.
This one being my favorite part...
Stretch limbing dusks' arc
The red under your bark
And how you left your mark
On me, never the seasons...

No thanks, I have lot's of big windows, and a lovely backyard. Plus I am at work, well, I have to do a movie at the end of the month and play a show at the bigfoot lodge, but other than that this is what I do currently, I'm at my desk, in my beautifully well lit (naturally, of course) Den/Frontroom finishing up my book and writing two movies. One for Carlos Diegus and one for this flaming filipino friend of mine. Therefore, forgive me if I cackle at you and say "Lick my scrotum freak!"

This is a piece for the hounds. Surely you must have a life? Why re-write my poetry? PLEASE for all of us...get out and get some sun!
A sad bitter leif Garret
I most often make myself laugh the hardest.
I like the line breaks better. But dramatic line breaks, do not a poem make.
Damn right. That is what 11 years of higher education will get you!
ace line breaks
Oh yeah? You're just being disagreeable. Ha. Actually, I figured this for a "making love (awww) with the screen door dripping during a rainstorm" poem, in which case it was short, sweet, and simple, just as it should be.
I liked Molson long ago, especially the Bradors stuff, but then it started tasting really skunky. Pilsner Urquell is a fine brew that is not just for girls (so there). The Czechs make good pilsners. I worked in a package store (that's Connecticutese for liquor store) for a few years and become quite the beer connoisseur, for what it's worth, and came to the conclusions that most nationally distributed "microbrews" are overrated and most American lighter beers (e.g., pilsners, lagers) are crap, but the European counterparts generally have some heft and body. What do the good folk of Misery drink, then, if not "girly" pilsners? (Because surely they drink.) Coors? Bleh.
ahaaahhaahahahah, feezus that was ahoot. 9.
natures skyscraper...
I like this (even without the apostrophe) and I was digging the poem until if flopped over and turned melodramatic. K.I.S.S.
Oh yeah, well I disagree with your disagreement because I want more than the storm, I want the creative metaphor of water on the screen. The water falling. The storm is cliché but the opening metaphor and maybe I took it wrong because now I see the screen door is open. So then maybe the narrator is sitting in a lawn chair in the entrance way drinking a Molson in the rain waiting to sprout mold. Who knows up there in Canada? But the water on the screen and what can be done with that -- well that is what I was talking about.
Pilsner is for girls.
cool i like this poem. -8-
and you commented on one of his poems as if you are two people, but here you seem to be commenting as if you're the same. Please explain.
I don't get it. Who's we?
Crystal, I can't ever tell if you're trying to be witty or facitious. I think you should stick to your cute little comments either way. Anything else is short of your strengths and probably motivated by the energy of the regulars on this site. Don't let them infect you darlin. ;-)
