Jesus died for you.
Do you know what the word is for the 'gorgeous'/'poor, just' device? It's not really a proper rhyme. There has to be some word for it that I'm not aware of.

I would if it weren't for the shackles. Not metaphorical shackles you understand; actual shackles.

~incarnate~ replying on The cheating wife haiku by ~incarnate~ 23 Sep 2003, 11:16 AM
A haiku is based on an old form of Japanese poetry. It is usually a poem written in 3 lines with a rhythm of 5-7-5. I.e. 5 words on the 1st line, 7 on the second and 5 on the last. All the words in the poem are linked and are essential to the poem. There is a better explanation on this site, Kaolin fire has it somewhere under poems. Thanks. :) have a good one.

It is a fragment. I plan on expanding it eventually. The key to the (not really well thought out) metaphor is: daedalus machine = computer/internet

Wow, you were talking about orangutans all along.
I have now corrected the assumption error which seemed to have been keeping this poem off the top of the "best" list.
