I tried ignoring her but she just laid there crying. It's been about 4 and half hours now so I called the police and they told me that I had to tell her that I had called them for some reason. So I opened the door to tell her and she attacked me. Just as a natural reaction I grabbed her and pushed and she hit her head and has been out cold since. I don't know how this is going to play out so I might as well get ready for a trip to the police station.

Are you trying to suggest that dew is odourless? I'll have you know that dew smells like freshly cut grass and soil, with perhaps the scent of the odd flower thrown in for good measure.
