Wow, good for you. Much more depth then I've seen from you before. Could you move the 1st stanza inbetween some of the others? I think the second stanza would do much better as teh first, nice strong intro.
That or thinner thighs.

nuff said.
I've never done one really. At least as far as the left brain's definition of one goes.
Hmm, well, I think you could probably spend some time rolling this over in your mind to come up with a more creative way of expressing what you feel. The language is just very dry. I get what your saying, and you speak it clearly, but maybe that's your angle.
I saw Slayer in Lon-Don during the summer. Afterwards, I witnessed a young South American man excitedly shaking his friend and shouting about how ace he thought the concert was. That cancels out all the dullards, dunces, posers, buncombes, oldsters, youngsters, hipsters, holsters, s'mores and sega rallys that you may have encountered.
In 1992 the acclaimed director Nicholas Novi presented Placido Domingo with his handmade egg, decorated with a portrait of Peter The Great.
Look, I can see where you're coming from. However, you have to take into account the fact that people can change. If nothing else, Kerry King has sprouted a most venerable beard in the years since the terrible travesties of which you speak, and I think this should be held in his favour. And that is to say nothing of his stately beer-belly.
In some ways I agree; Of course, the members of the orchestral group, Slayer, should never have allowed the young men in question to make unbecoming comments in the vicinity of their roving omnibus. Nonetheless, surely they must still be allowed the rein to express themselves? Are we to ban all art because of this indiscretion? Of course not; freedom to express one's self is paramount in a forward thinking society.
I disparove of the police as well, especially the way they try to prevent crimes. But then that's just one of things you have to try to live with. Life's like that, you know?

DEFINETLY Mraz material. Good job, John. It's easy to see who your inspiration is.
I once knew a person who used to make rubbish .ST3 files on his computer. One of his "tewns" was called "Bored," and then one night he made a remix of it called "Bored 3am." I don't really know why. Anyway, I though this might be of interest to you.
I assume this is the BBC World Service? Do you live in Botswana or something?
love the idea of combonation of Haikus, truly brilliant.

There seem to be a dispropotionate number of poems about bees on this site. I can't complain, I am guilty of it myself. See "Deceit."
Hey, I know we've had our disagreements in the past, but I really liked this poem.
I know how you feel, I am always jet-setting around the globe: Huddersfiled, Slough, Tunbrige Wells... Boy, it never ends.
I think Itallian is such a beautiful language.
Is it true that you are Rockmage's dad? I really liked his sculptures.
P.S.-9-
Hmmm. I think the pressed shirt imagery is enabling a more literal read than I intended.
'To what business may lead to know thyself,
go on a business trip'.
This poem is meant as the aquisition/appropriation of a tidy concept with the subsequent fragmentation and repackaging into a marketable value added product.
Oh! Oh! Woe be unto us! All that's left is fairy dust!
This does not strike me as the you I have met. It is wonderfully funny. Such a sensitive critter you are!
