EWWWWWW! Very funny, you PERVERT!!
I like it.
This is very tender and I like the rhetorical flourish of the last couplet.
This irritates me as a subject. There is nothing wrong with being middle class. You find we run many of the businesses and companies employing the worker. Without middle class financial investment the economy would completely collapse. Now the aristocracy, they contribute nothing to economy. Yet we must preserve them as it part of (my) culture. Other than that it is sound.
Also, socialism only works in heavan where it's not needed and hell where it's already working. Obvioulsy the awful 60 years of communism in Russia and the Eastern Bloc and the slow return to captitalism by China, Vietnam and Cuba mean nothing? Socialism just leads to oppression because with evryone being the same, the need to be better is only intensified.
Hey, man, this is pretty good stuff! :) Shades of Noel Coward (especially the liqueurs and suchlike)!
I do like this. Very frivolous, in a good way. (I think frivolous can be construed ina bad way). Oh I do so like using long words, makes me feel Jovial, Jocular and Gay. (we don't use that word for its true meaning enough).
Dude, well-written stuff, but you have some serious issues...
Very descriptive. It reminds me why I love Autumn.
I don't think it needs an exclamation mark. It was going really well untill the last line, 'he is a winner!' just trivializes it I'm afraid.
4 in the last line...
you have no grasp of the haiku. it can be out of the 575 and less than and rearranged. and as for your lyric well...it's not..you fail. purposely, i would hope. and quite poorly. congratulations!
this is like rattle snake colonic.have no fear...none1 because your heart was a rubber chicken and his incredibly unharmed. wink, sink.
I like the sense of compromise that comes over in this. I wonder if it should be 'On streets' not 'By streets' - do you say that doors are 'by' streets? Dunno. I'm a pedant. I like the 'metaphysical concrete dreams'.
Interesting. Did you know that whn Isaac Newton was admitted to the Royal Society, they were investigating how to make insects out of cheese?
Good to see another sonnet from you - you handled it well in 'The Canvassers' and also in this. This is more Keatsian as well in its self-analysis and fear.
354?
not the sort of poem i hate but the sort of stuff I do not read madam!
