too long, didn't read
You're going to make me learn
latin aren't you.
Enjoyable
I confess I really like the ending. Cheers indeed.
Hmmm... either you'Re editing every fifteen and a half seconds, and I don't always notice the difference, or else this site doesn't like me voting on this particular poem. I'd swear this is the third time in ten minutes...
worded well, but i dont think it even comes close to the real thing. my mother had cancer just this past summer. it is worse then you write. maybe it would be better if you really knew what you were talking about!
God's laughing at you. So am I.

The P.S. is a letdown. You could have done better than that.
I really connect with the way you write. It needs some refining, but you have a natural and distinctive flow. It's 'cerEmony' . I'm impressed by many of your images. The penultimate line is a true beauty. Pause after "posture' . 'hold' to 'holding' a want a line break between 'smoke' & 'coated'.

Fascinating. She's such a powerful symbol. I love her mystery and her maternal, unconditional mercy. The 1st stanza is perfect but the 2nd falls apart slightly. Slightly. Soem typos and bad grammer but over all can be worked into art. Thanks for being here.
Straight from the heart
This isn't about generosity. Write another poeme saying how important it is to be generous.
"I hold it tight/Not wanting to let go". Oh, how beautifully that speaks of mine own experiences. If only I hadn't eaten those accursed prunes!
hidden depth eh? hmm, this poem seems about as deep as my toilet bowl, but do explain. please. im probably very stupid, i would love to be enlightened by the Bogster.
da, you really shouldnt let Ms Bog beat you out of the # last position... think of your reputation, you better get to work writting some more crap so people can vote you back down to where you belong!
My God, woman, do you lie in wait and let me vote so that you can edit three split seconds after?
21st June 200? My GOD you're an antique. I didn't know they had buses back then...
Oh yes, about the poem, I rather like this one.
