ambiguity in a poem is something that makes a poem so beautiful, something that is worth discussing, something worth talking about. We do not live in a black or white society, but rather one that is in shades of gray. everyone is entitled to his or her opinion and nobody can take that away from him. the world we live in is in shades of gray, and for that, I 'm grateful.

The poem is not too bad. Line six onward loses the thread a bit. The ground is not likely to engulf him lest still into eternal darkness. And trees do not cry blood.

I think the jaggedness problem is that the linebreaks are too frequent. It would be more lyrical with thicker chunks.

Patricia street is needlessly ambiguous because it could be a person or a street.

Mared should be marred. People do not tend to pick at scabs and hope they heal. A rasping 'you think picking at scabs will make them heal' would probably be better.

I've seen mooseknuckles with more style and flair.
This is just bad writing, but with emphasis on
what it's like to be black, poor, and in a dress.

Well, I say it's open to interpretation because if someone reads it and thinks that this person is screaming out of excitement, well then that's what they get. I personally wrote it with that person screaming in fear because I'm about to go hallin' ass down a busy freeway. I can see where I could use some clarity but grammar?

"They make me glad". I don't know much about poetry, I mean I read and write the stuff and maybe it's just my simple understanding, but the line "They make me glad." kind of dropped me. I liked the poem though.
