Small, detailed grammar isn't important to me. You read it the same. Who cares.

I miss you Brandon, and I love you. I think you will be good at what ever You decide you'd like to be good at. I'd wish you a merry christmas, and say some stupid shit about life and love, and how things work, but I think you and I know better than that, and I also think we know eachother's minds, I am fine, the kids are great. you are an Uncle again to a beautiful Boy his name is Cyrus, maybe magic Like you and I, or maybe not. We'll see, I wrote a book, it was published. I finaly got a commercial, so a bit of money. I pray you are well, but I know you would tell me if you weren't. Sorry about mom, And I, but I've decided that she hurts my mind to much to be around, and because I'm A man, I can do that, she is a tsunami her aftermath disgusts even men of god. but you are a prince, and I am your brother Older, I might add, Our love is from the stars. We must always keep counsel.

This poem is disingenuous, is it some sort of avant garde form of writing to scare off readers and give poetry a bad name? Please, let's make poetry readable and enjoyable.

What does the last part of the poem, good as it is, have to do with the first verse?

Do you think the orgasnic matter in your head is you, or are you a being separate from that matter? Something more lasting?

Probably some bonsai and orchads too. Probably third generation American.

I like the Taoist idea of becoming like water in a brook that flows conformingly around the rocks in its path, sculpting them slowly, almost imperceptively over a long time.

Lol, New York is a mighty place. You should fit in just fine.

FOR DOVINA: I'm sorry , I didn't mean to void your response to my poem...... I just got mixed up and marked the wrong response. But regarding your question, I think that the poem reflects the idea that I am in the process of becoming a Buddhuist-oriented Christian Humanist who would like to be in a Zen state of perpetual "letting be." Love, Doug

I was referring to " (Surely FINGERING wouldn't be too decent lol). "

Yeah, i've read lots and lots of poems but not too many sestinas. While writing this all I did refer to was Elizabeth Bishop's Sestina. And the rules stated that it's better if the 6 words could be used in different forms but it's not complusory.

Obviously, you haven't read much of the others poetry, then.
Re: Math Poem 2 by Dovina -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. 81.153.196.50 28-Dec-04/9:01 AM
What the hell are you talking about? This is just shit. Mathematically, this poeme is uninteresting. Unless you're fascinated by the fact that not all operators are identical. Poetically, all you've done is sprawl out this observation in a stupid, non-rhyming, tedious blanket of guff.
Re: Math Poem 2 by Dovina richa 81.178.233.69 28-Dec-04/7:49 AM
Much better. The start is a bit weak, I would say if you want to write a maths poem use mathematical terms to give the poem better precision. 'Bumping about in randomness' and 'loosely connected', are too vague. They turn the reader off immediately. Other than that there is a more obvious natural progression in this poem than the previous one.
