And as -=Dark_Angel=-,P.I. turns to leave the lecture theatre at the local co-operative colledge, his audible "harrumph" signfying an end to his menstruation, his gravitas is slightly undone by the noise his brand new pumps make on the polished floor.
The Cuban Musician's Curse
A noise in the dark
I tremble in sheer terror -
An escaped son?
You are a dumb mother fuck. My word was: pop-tarded. The word you speak of is: pop-tart.
Clearly 2 sepearte words. Mine being a concatenated word based on two words, yours being the fact that you are pop-tarded.
good lick to you and your "work"
If you're going to take that title, at least make an attempt at something worthwile and/or somewhat pleasing to read. *5*
My balls are small, my words are slight,
I nearly creamed with zoddie's delight.
Painkiller, fuck you, fuck Zodiac,Fuck Horus8(gay),fuck poemstanker, and a big, triple larger than life fuck you to godswife. So kiss my American ass you defeated Scotch and as long as your there, please lick my hangin American crotch!
Some people don't think it's a very prestigious award. But to those people I would say which is more prestigious, to spend your life with your face stuffed up the word-end of a bookshelf, desperately cramming your jodhpurs full of "facts" until they rupture at the seams, or to force an ignorant Brown-child to weep a single tear of hope? Which is worth more UCAS points in the University of LIFE: a B in AS-level Geography, or the satisfaction of pasting together a collage about Ethnics and pinning it up at the local spaz factory? For goodness sake, is another useless piece of paper going to solve the country's rampant gitsurfing problem? Of course not. Of course not.
Thanks for listening.
Bizarre.
Stand in front of the mirror and read this out loud. Let me know what you think.
I especialy like the last couplet, nice build up.

Yeah? Well I earned the ASDAN Universities Award which is being increasingly recognised among HE institutions.
Show me a better Meta Poem. Just one. Then, say its "as good as most of what's come down lately". Either your stating that have no basis what so ever by which you judge the writings of others, thus making everything eqaul and the same or, that everything "coming down lately" is as thought provoking or entralling, this is to say the least almost impossible to anyone other than a 6 year old, which would merely prove that once again, you have no basis by which to judge writing what so ever.

I'm glad you saw enough artist value to my words to be inspired to paint with them. What could make an artist more proud than to inspire his or her peers. Oh and pop-tarded, if you'll check with the fine people at Kellog's, as been a word since 1968, invented by a young President Bush Sr.'s grandmother, when describing what not to do with an infant(apparently he wasn't paying much attention at the time), her false teeth fell out but the senile old bat rabbling on. Pop Tards Founder and CEO, Eric Dick, Marketed his generic brand, of another modern day toastable breakfast, until cicra 1974, when his wife Exposed him to the IRS for Tax Fraud and the Michigan based company went bankrupt.
Good Day!
Yes, I read it anyway, and it's as good as most of what's come down lately.
Good poem. For my $.02, I didn't like this line:
i will take solace in the fact that i have been in love
The poem is otherwise taking-care-of-business, let's-move-on. That line felt out of place, too touchy-feely and like you're justifying past mistakes. Said another way, 'solace' is an emotion word stuck in the middle of a poem centered on logic and thought.
Though this appears to be heartfelt and a thought worthy of poetry, the presentation falls short of one of the best definitions of love I've read and a touching ode to a fallen sister, both by the same poet. It's not just you; a spirit of depression seems gripping poemranker like a disease in a beehive. I feel like a prodical daughter returning to find the houses boarded up and the homefolk moping around.
