NICE! I think god sucks ass, so I see me and you are on the same page, please read my poem "where was god" and give me your thoughts
I liked this one too. It's also whimsical, like deadweight, but less gothic.
I really am a sucker for whimsy. check out my pome Taller Girl, it has a spinning girl in it too. Assuming your spinner is a girl. Woman. Female. Person. You know.
This was fun to read and I really liked it
This is pretty good, and I enjoied reading it. I hope you find the answers you are looking for
I don't really like this one, I dunno why, and I wish I did so maybe it's help you, but I'm not that great, so don't listen to what I think
It's pretty good, I don't understand it, which is proubly what you're going for, so good job
This is GREAT! I can totally relate to it, keep up yhe good work
in the last stanza they are divided, the abandoned shells of selves washed ashore and now things of beauty (and no longer deadweights) while their true selves, or souls, walk (now unencumbered) in the depths.
I'm not sure if I would characterize the fantasy as melodramatic or whimsical. I'm going to go with whimsical because I liked it and it's cool to like whimsy but not cool to like melodrama.
This is awsome, i really like it, you don't follow any 'rules' of poetry, which I love, good work
How can a sincere poem rhyme real with feel and night with light?
And you don't have to imagine who gave it a -0- because it says under view voting details.
By the way hipster flare is rather good
Sometimes there is peace in giving up on love, and though rare, even happiness. Small technical quibble about the shortage of syllables in the 5th line, but a very beautiful poem making very good contemporary use of a venerable form. Incidentally, I cannot imagine who could in good conscience give this effort a "0".
the past is always over, so now I look toward the future ! what a simple concept
Reading this made me cup my balls...I enjoyed it
What about the opioids that null extreme pains when the pain is no longer adaptive?
Well written, a bit of the 'science' sounds too much like pop cosmology though.
Beta-blockers better still.
Starts and ends with a nice clear voice, but gets a bit confusing in the middle
