Re: Reflections of the Living Dead by SomeKindofPoet -=Dark_Angel=-, P.I. 212.219.223.8 20-May-04/12:43 AM
If this were a poeme narrated by a zombie who was sitting around in an old zombies' home, thinking about the times when he used to go around trying to eat people's brains, and how he saw most of his zombie friends shot in the head, and wondering whether it was all worth it, it would be ace. -0-

Maybe you can explain something to me, SomeKindofPoet: on Decapolis people are always posting things like, "Topic: back-stabbing whores ...posted 05-12-2004 09:34 PM ack!!!! i'm sooooo livid right now. a supposed friend has just stabbed me and several of my friends in the back and horribly so. i'm so glad she's not here or i would most definitely kick the **** out of her... " and "like my wife used to always say.... "you can't trust a byatch."" and "Crap on a crap cracker. Josh." What I don't understand is why don't the Jesus Police bust these people's asses posthaste? Is that the way young "hip" Christians talk these days? I don't know about you, but in case of Rapture *this* car will be unoccupied. Thanks.

Hauntingly beautiful. I really like your use of "face in hiding" as a metaphor for leprosy. -10-

How did it feel to win the Melben G. Glasscock Center for Humanities Research Prize in Historical Literary Studies?
Re: love comes but once by francis nor capule zodiac 67.240.211.73 20-May-04/10:10 AM
Do you really know that love comes but once, or are you just saying that because it sounds poetic and preformulated? And how would you know that, anyway? By my own count, love has come for me about seven times - unless you really mean *cum*, in which case, sadly, the correct figure is never.

the last 6 lines are good. you need to maybe not use huge words together.. "crass nomenclature, warm in our eiderdown plicature." it really, really cuts up the flow. so there!

I can't really relate this year, but Colorado is still pretty cool. June'll probably be a cooker. Still I have big tree's beside my house so it's almost always cool inside

All moments are painted I think, you just can't always distinguish the colors. I like this, let's see some more?

Remind me not to piss you off, or teach you how to load black powder.

Nope, but I guess there's some meaning to it.

sitting on a steamboat...whittling lemmings...throwing overboard...this could be a blast with the right chemical mixture.

just a word of advice...stop naming your poems "untitled". Surely you can come up with a name for them. That title just makes the whole thing boring even if it isn't.

yes - a break now and then is, as Martha would say, a Good Thing.
