nice, but exile/all alone is redundant... uzwyze, nice job
Funny or goofy? Hmmm. that is a tough one. Any way biker Frass, lol, 52 weeks a year. Did you visit the girls specifically or did you just happen to be on the veranda and visit "with" them. The nervous laughter and looks makes me think this is spontaneous which throws the title out of context and bothers me. Plus, it sounds just trite. Is this like the first time you have ever encountered anybody outside of your shell. I bet you just love seeing boys in lycra, muscles bulging, sweat pouring, pounding Gary Fisher pedals 52 weeks a year. ummm. Yummy. When I cum out to VA will you be my bitch?
Katie on Come Back to Me by jlanza 13 Sep 2002, 8:38 AM
!! love it, it's cute, but not complicated, there's some parts I would fix, but besides that I love it! 9/10!! =)
god'swife on Our New Tongue by Christof 13 Sep 2002, 8:42 AM
Excellent. Hadn't read this before. "Oaths of faith and love" Please work on writing a new contract for all the girls and boys. I love stanza 4, awkward and sad without being awkward and sad. Is she married?

Limness on she wonders, by <~> 13 Sep 2002, 8:48 AM
Dreamy, and painful--now that i've read the comments. Hang in there; lots of fish in the sea (I know you don't want to hear that, but give it some time, dear, give it some time.)

It is the poem a day by Christof!! I just don't like the images. Don't know why. I just can't image relief spreading like leaves. I want to make it something it is not. But oh well. There is always tomorrow's poem.

I don't know how she could have known that the cars were going to crash beneath her open window. Isn't that waht you imply by saying 'stage'? Doesn't make sense to me. Explain please?
Katie on Curse by OneFingerAnswer 13 Sep 2002, 8:54 AM
=) I like it, not complicated, but yet it's still a wonderfull poem, cootos!! 9/10 =)
<~> on some deleted poem 13 Sep 2002, 8:02 AM
very nice, but, where are the birds? (kidding) two things: first line is awkward. also, is a car crash really a simple clap? isn't it more complex than that, with all those different materials meeting and simultaneously shattering?
<~> on some deleted poem 13 Sep 2002, 8:05 AM
Katie, this is a nice idea (that has been done to death) BUT please do not insult us by putting this online with so many typos and misspellings. it's just careless, and embarrassing for you. put your best foot forward, if you're going to step out at all.
