Fall IS the perfect time of year in Tennessee, but to say that it is different, if not for lack of change, brings up images of good ol' boys, a holler an' 'shine.

A nice image - man/woman, moon/sun - long dance before the eclipse when she graciously accepts. How about a line break after anew? And "ill-fated" seems wrong with all we know about orbits.
The lunar eclipse was on 10/27/04, and you seem to be talking about a solar eclipse, so why the title?

The lawn christ I did beard with a few
gems that were browne as poo poo
They shone like his eyes
He, to no ones surprise,
looked and smelled like a rich migrant jew

"he was so plump and round
and i loved him from every angle,
and he was my march of time
my most effective line
he was my helplessness, my fear.
Queer how the snarl
on his lip endeared
right until the end,
and i have never known a lie
and i have never known a friend,
never nothing really
until this very moment
when, now i know it all, all, all
as free and sickening as the fall."
Get away with this gay shits. "Queer how snarl" what in the hell is this sucka shit?. losing your mind. lack of emotions. oh this one is not from the heart. is merely a soup opera for gay men. beautiful poem. this is great. dam anyway is a piece of loaded crap. make no sense at all. shot me if you can. I am poet iam poet.

On 10.25.04, while you were gallavanting about in pursuit of the ultimate lewd, I was at home soaking my mulberries in the oils of clove. If only you could boast of time similarly well spent, my lad.

Yeah, as one's senses dull with age, it seems that the only thing one still feels strongly as it did in youth is pain. Pain changes from "growing pains" to "growing older pains."

A fine archaic letter, as if written a hundred years ago. Not a poem, really, but it shows us just enough to get the point. I'd vote 10 if this were a letters site.

I tried to beard Christ with a money
shot, slath'ring him thick with my "honey".
But to my surprise,
It went in his eyes,
Which he didn't think was 'tall funny.
