Alright, I get it. Love rhymes with above
Sorry, but I made it only a quarter of the way through this choppy thing. Please try to be a little more concise.
I can only guess what you might be talking about. No vote.
Dear Mr. Poe
I liked The Raven better, more fluid somehow, but you've made fine try here with the same Lenore, and even brought a chuckle where the former did not.
These should be broken into the following categories:
-'...knowing you're an angel up above.'
-'...you're like an angel up above.'
-'...blessed by/sent by the Lord above.'
-[other objects above.]
-[doesn't make any goddamn sense.]
Perhaps he has been playing Nethack, and decided to surround the protagonist with eels.
i fell off my seat
He didn't, he skimmed it, and fired, you tit.
God, that was bad, long and bad.
The first verse is good.
The second verse is vague, but ok. comfort -> comforts.
I think you could do without the last "Dear Diary . . ."
Overall, a good effort.
If the whole poem was about a messaging service, and I assumed writing about a messaging service would be somehow exciting, I'd then be classifiably as lonely and pathetic as you, and I don't see that happening, it's actually about allpoetry.com thank you for your useless fodder and wasting my time with your wasted words. See, I use poemranker as a online journal and back up memory of sorts, so I really don't post these with any intentions outside of a need for copys. Have a lovely day.
so much insight... i'm so happy that you took the time to read this poem and tell me what you think!
better than smoke inhalation, which is more than i can say for many of the others.
need more roughage - it will help with your colons.
Oooo, oooo! Let me tell him!! Can I, Can I???
Yeah, I know what you mean. I think you are capable of saying it better. But it stands at a '8' on its own. Thanks for not making it as long as my wordy verses.
it is especially difficult for a reader of lyrics to imagine the beat, the cant, the rhythm of a song, when it does not rhyme. but, even as a poem, i think this is very good.
i can see it being a good song.
OMG... i totally missed that. haven't drunk enough coffee... sorry
