The best thing here is the line 'I have no time to lend or borrow' - reminds me of a folk song or something - but the idea of time as a commodity is surprisingly deep here.

Don't pander to the man's vanity. Note that on 24 October 2002 "Professor" Soderstrom wrote: "In fact, I am, not a prof, but, just a regular community college Instructor of Psychology doing my best to learn how to become a, hopefully, fairly decent writer and, perhaps even, poet."

I love it! Okay, i might be a little biased just because of my little rose 'problem.' I think the rose can be used in so many ways to convey emotions like the rejuvination in your poem. I also like the simple rhyme scheme. It's beautiful!
